Location
The hotel is situated in a central position in the territory of the"Gravine" on the Statale 7 Appia road at a short distance of about 2 km from the town of Massafra, with its ancient and craggy churches, some 10 km from Taranto, 50 km from Matera, "the famous city of Stones", 50 km from Alberobello, with its beautiful “Trulli" and 70 km from Bari and Lecce.
The Rooms
Appia Palace is far the most hospitable and important hotel in the territory of Taranto, thanks to its 117 rooms of which 66 offer beds in a French fashion. 15 of these are single rooms, 26 are double bedrooms (2 of them are suited for disabled persons), and there are 10 suites, made up of a little hall, a double room, a room for children and a bathroom. All rooms are equipped with a great number of excellent services and comforts: sattelite TV, direct phone-line, air conditioning and mini bar.

Appia Palace has also its own private parking space for guests, a TV room with a huge screen, 2 restaurants with service "a la carte" for 400 guests, where you can taste the both typical regional and national dishes and sip very good local wines. The hotel (reception) is opened 24/7; the bar is opened from 7 a.m. until 23 p.m.; Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.
